Cyril Lignac's chocolate mascarpone cake is a wonderful treat!
Soft, foamy, not very sweet and very tasty, you can hardly do it better!
When my daughter served it to us, we were completely convinced!
Since it's made with mascarpone instead of butter, it needs high-quality chocolate to enhance it.
It's made in no time and with few ingredients, but requires careful cooking supervision to get that fabulous melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Ingredients :
(For a 22cm circle or a 20/20cm square)
200g dark chocolate
250 g mascarpone at room temperature
4 eggs
75g powdered sugar
40g flour
Frosting:
100g dark chocolate
50g butter
