Doctors have revealed the reason why we should never wash chicken meat! We endanger ourselves and those close to us when we simply take the chicken or chicken meat and wash it in the sink, believing we are doing the right thing.
Therefore, consumers are warned not to wash raw chicken meat as this practice actually increases the risk of food poisoning.
An online survey, in which 4500 adults from the UK participated, found that 44% of them washed the meat before cooking.
